Robert P. Didier, D.D.S.
Dr Didier graduated from Napa Union High School as senior class president. He was awarded the Silverado Scholastic Society Scholarship for academic excellence. He went on to study at the University of San Francisco where he completed all pre-dental requirements in only 3 years achieving the Deans List in all semesters.
He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific where he was invited to join the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for his academic achievements. In his sophomore year he won the National Institutes of Health Essay contest and was awarded a trip to Washington DC to join other winners in a National Institute of Dental Research planning conference.
Dr Didier is a recognized expert in the field of TMJ treatment. Highlights of his training include a mini-residency at the University of California. He was invited by international expert Dr. Chuck McNeil to become an Associate Professor at UCSF where he taught and lectured for two years. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain; one of 250 diplomats worldwide! He is also a member and fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
To hone his skills in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Didier has attended the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum at the University of Pacific and has studied with internationally-regarded Dr. Frank Spears at the Seattle Institute for Higher Education. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Didier has been restoring/placing implants for over 15 years. He continues to pursue his education in this area through his membership in the Seattle Study Club. His ultimate goal is to create undetectable implant restorations that look and feel like natural teeth.
Besides dentistry, Dr. Didier enjoys boating, deep sea fishing, traveling, and growing grapes at his Napa ranch, gourmet cooking and physical fitness activities.
