Important Information Regarding COVID-19

Updated as of May 18, 2020

Dear Patient,

The team at Fountaingrove Dentistry has been busy preparing the practice to reopen for necessary dental care. Oral health plays a major role in overall health and we want to provide our patients the best care in a safe and comfortable environment.  We would like to share with you our efforts and what you can do to make future visits to our practice as safe as possible.

What’s new:

Our team is now rescheduling appointments cancelled over the last two months. You may have received a call or text. We are trying to accommodate patients with more urgent needs first and scheduling healthier patients out for their next six-month visit. We have been making changes in our PPE and patient flow where needed. This week, our hygienists will be treating a limited number of family members and team members in order to practice the new protocols. These protocols will reinforce our long-standing universal precautions and be specific to current health threat. You may notice a difference in PPE and some procedures will be reduced or eliminated for the immediate future. Starting May 26, we will start seeing our regular patients for dental care at a reduced schedule in order to keep patients and team members safe.

How you can help:

Most of us are becoming accustom to the “social distance” way of doing things. Here are some new protocols we ask you to follow to reduce the risk for everybody:

Avoid bringing family members or friends with you to appointments. We have reduced the number of chairs in the reception area. You may use them or wait in your car if you prefer.

  1. Masks are required until you arrive in the treatment chair.
  2. Please fill out the usual COVID-19 screening questions. We will try to send them by text in advance.
  3. New PPE even at the reception area.
  4. Make sure that you arrive on time for your reserved appointment.
  5. Contactless payment is preferred. We will still take cash or check if necessary.
  6. Wash hands or use sanitizer before you arrive and prior to leaving treatment room.
  7. Limit personal items brought into the practice.

We look forward to seeing you again. Fountaingrove Dentistry will continue to place the health and well-being of our team and our patients first. We appreciate your understanding during these strange times. For more information, please visit our website or follow us on Facebook.

Stay Healthy,

The Fountaingrove Dentistry Team
