Gain Hands-on Experience at Fountaingrove Dentistry
We are delighted to have started a program to help college students interested in a career in dentistry.
Our new Dental Career Internship allows several Pre-Dental Students to observe procedures while they work in our practice. They will gain hands-on experience in several of the positions.
Our goal is to solidify their career choice and help them with admission into Dental School. Once in Dental School, the practical experience will be useful during laboratory and clinical training.
Meet Our Interns
Sammy
Sammy was born and raised in Kings County and is one of four children. She is currently working towards receiving her AS/T degree in Biology. Although she is at the beginning of her college career at SRJC she plans on becoming a dental hygienist or a general dentist.
A note from Sammy: “I’ve never experienced a more welcoming environment until I walked through the doors of Fountaingrove Dentistry.”
Oliver
Oliver is joining the team over the summer while he’s home from the University of Washington, where he’s majoring in biochemistry in a pre-dental track. On his time off, he’s either outdoors or with friends (ideally both).
A note from Oliver: “I’m ready to help out however possible and am excited to be a part of FGD.”
Jeemin
Jeemin was the first intern at Fountaingrove Dentistry! FGD is where her passion for dentistry was born.
She spent 1.5 years with us, observing the team create beautiful smiles and helping out as a sterile tech. She is currently in Philadelphia attending a post-baccalaureate program at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, and she hopes to become a wonderful dentist soon!

Paulina
Paulina was born and raised in Napa Valley where she later moved to Sonoma County. Paulina recently graduated from Maria Carrillo High School and is currently attending Santa Rosa Junior College with plans to join the Dental Hygiene program. Paulina is excited to start her career in the Dental Industry here at Fountaingrove Dentistry.
