Are you dropping Delta?

No. Although we are ending our current contract with Delta, we still will accept patients who have Delta Dental Insurance. The difference is that we will be out of networks providers. See below for details on how that might affect you.

Why the change?

Although premiums have continued to rise or the past decade, reimbursement has remained stagnant. With ever-increasing costs of PPE and supplies, we cannot continue to offer high-quality care at their rates. Also, restrictions on procedures and new providers have made it very difficult to provide our best treatment within Delta’s contract.

Will you still bill Delta?

Yes! We will still bill Delta as a courtesy. The difference is that that Delta will reimburse you, the patient. This occurs generally within 1 month from service, if not sooner.

When does this take effect?

The official date is July 30th. We will honor Delta fees until Dec 31st 2021 for those patients who have treatment planned.

Does my coverage change?

You will have the same annual limit per your insurance.

Do I have to pay at time of service?

In most cases yes. In some cases where financial arrangements have been made, we will offer payment plans or outside financing.

Can I pay after my insurance pays me?

We prefer to handle your financial obligations at the time of service.

I am in the middle of my treatment. What happens now?

We will honor the fees that were quoted for your treatment until Dec 31st 2021

Is there anything I need to do as a patient?

No. As a courtesy we will submit the claim, x-rays and documentation so that you can maximize your dental benefits.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept most insurance companies that allow you to choose your own dentist, but again, we are out of network providers.
